Authorities confirm that two people died in Monday’s crash of a small plane that took off from Lakeland-Linder Airport bound for south Georgia.
Wreckage from the plane was found in extreme south Georgia hours after it went down.
Investigators are back at the crash site in a wooded area to look for the cause.
Hunters say they heard a plane with possible engine trouble near the crash scene.
The twin engine Cessna was registered to a Brandon law firm.
