A man died Monday morning after he and his motorcycle crashed on I-75.
The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office reports that 59-year-old Donald McCowan of Ellenton was driving his 2009 Honda 1300 on the inside lane of I-75 near the mile 287 milepost at about 9:02 this morning. The traffic in front of McCowan stopped and he swerved to avoid a crash but lost control and overturned.
The came to a final rest in the median of I-75 and was transported to Bayfront Health Dade City with serious injuries but later died.
