Three Fatally Shot Inside South Florida Town Home

SUNRISE, Fla. (AP) — Police in South Florida say three people died in a shooting at a town home complex.

Sunrise police spokesman Rodney Hailey says officers responding to a 911 call around 7 p.m. Sunday found three people shot inside the home. Hailey says one person was alive when they arrived. The person was pronounced dead at Broward General Medical Center.

The South Florida Sun Sentinel reports a 5-year-old child ran to a neighbor’s house to warn them of “the situation” inside the home.

Hailey says the child was safe and at the Sunrise police station Sunday night.

Authorities say all three victims had different last names and their relationships were not immediately known.
