A special charity auction will start today on eBay and all the proceeds will go the family of Indy Car Driver Dan Wheldon, who was killed in a crash in Las Vegas.
Graham Rahal, one of Wheldon’s fellow drivers put together the online auction and solicited donations of memorabilia from a range of celebrities. Like Wheldon, Rahal is a former winner of the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg.
Items up for auction are a wide range of memorabilia donated by stars in racing, football, and even actors like Samuel L. Jackson.
eBay has eliminated its fees for the auction, so every dollar raised will go to Wheldon’s wife Susie and the couple’s two young boys.
