Jude Law, who plays Dr. John Watson to Robert Downey Jr.’s Sherlock Holmes, has revealed that a third installment to director Guy Ritchie’s film series based on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s eccentric London detective could be in the offing.
“We had a meeting earlier this year, the three of us, and I think it’s being written now,” Law told Digital Spy recently. “Warner Bros. have still got to agree to pay for it…I think they want to!”
Another Sherlock Holmes mystery hasn’t officially been announced yet. But Richie did sign a deal to helm a new entry last year and is reportedly interested in shooting in Los Angeles.
