Sunday’s episode of The Walking Dead surprised viewers in more ways than one… The writers slid in a very poignant scene that may have gone unnoticed.
After getting injured, Michonne (Danai Gurira) finds herself stuck at the prison, the claustrophobic polar opposite of the months she spent out trying to track down The Governor (David Morrissey) in nearby regions. During her confinement, Michonne displays a very curious reaction when Beth (Emily Kinney) hands her baby Judith. Michonne starts to cry while holding the baby, such an uncharacteristically sentimental reaction that raises the question of whether the katana-wielding heroine had a baby (or babies) of her own before the zombie apocalypse.
