The Hobbit: Battle of Five Armies releases officially Wednesday but the lucky fans saw the epic movie Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m.
Peter Jackson and crew raked in $11.5 million. Overall, it’s projected to make $70-75 million in box offices and some reports suggest $80 million, according to Hollywood Reporter.
The prequel, The Desolation of Smaug earned $8.8 million in day-before releases.
