Sure, Black’s deliberately stripped down (and lyrically neutered) twist on the randy single shamelessly sounds like one of those “you totally made it your own!” auditions that would blow away clueless judges on a TV singing competition. But it’s also kind of pretty and Black demonstrates solid harmony with collaborator Jon D.
