Lindsay Lohan finally checks in to clinic

LOS ANGELES (AP) — A prosecutor says he has received confirmation that Lindsay Lohan has checked in to a rehab facility and he will not be seeking to violate the actress’ probation.

Santa Monica Chief Deputy City Attorney Terry White declined to disclose Lohan’s location Friday.

A source close to the actress says she has checked in to the Betty Ford Center to meet her court-ordered rehab obligations.

The source was not authorized to speak publicly. Lohan has also has re-hired her longtime attorney, Shawn Holley, to handle her court case.

White says he has been in contact with Holley about Lohan’s case.

Lohan is required to spend 90 days in rehab as part of a plea deal in a misdemeanor case filed after a June car accident.
