Leonardo DiCaprio A Howling Success In ‘Wolf Of Wall Street’ Trailer


Somebody really likes to see Leonardo DiCaprio flaunting his wealth — at least, in the movies. The man who just recently was “The Great Gatsby” has turned up again as a man with more money than sense — and is completely dazzling in the rip-roaring, star-packed trailer for Martin Scorsese’s upcoming film, “The Wolf of Wall Street.”

The trailer features just about every wild image you’ve read about or invented in your head about the worst of Wall Street’s excesses. First, there’s the hubris: “The year I turned 26, I made $49 million, which really pissed me off because it was just shy of $1 million a week,” says DiCaprio in character as Jordan Belfort, whose life and times in on Wall Street in the 1990s is the subject of the film.

Then there’s the outrageous grandiosity, including parties (and a monkey!) on the trading floor, dwarf-tossing (cue outrage) and FBI agents sniffing around. All of which is set to Kanye West’s “Black Skinhead,” keeping the tension and craziness at a fever pitch.
