Forbes reports that Christie’s auctioned off Kim Kardashian’s former 20.5-carat engagement ring, the one given to her by her dead-eyed Keeping Up with the Kardashians co-star Kris Humphries in a poorly staged E! proposal. The diamond-and-platinum Lorraine Schwartz ring, which Humphries reportedly purchased for $2 million, went for $749,000 in an auction in New York. We hope that proceeds from the sale will go toward Humphries’ research into Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind–style technology.
