Hall of fame inductions tonight

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Randy Newman says he’s glad he didn’t have to die first to get into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson says they never put much thought into being inducted but they know it’s important to the fans. Newman and Rush will be inducted into the Rock Hall along with Public Enemy, Heart, Donna Summer and bluesman Albert King. Quincy Jones and record producer Lou Adler will be inducted in the non-performer category. The ceremony is tonight in Los Angeles. If you want to watch, you’ll have to wait a while: HBO won’t run it until May 18.
