2015 Grammy’s: Nominations For 2015 Grammy Awards Announced

The Grammys are always worth watching and they air Sunday night on CBS

The nominees for five categories of the 57th Grammy Awards were announced Friday morning by the Recording Academy.

The Academy decided to release the names of nominees throughout the day Friday for the 2015 award show which is set to air at 8 p.m. on Feb. 8 on CBS.

The first batch includes those nominated for Record of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Pop Vocal Album, Best Urban Contemporary Album, and Best Country Album. The second batch, set to be released at 11 a.m. will include those nominated for 75 other categories.

Those contending for Album of the Year will not be revealed until just before 7 p.m. as CBS has decided to include it in their primetime “A Very Grammy Christmas” special, airing tonight.

Performers at Friday night’s CBS Christmas event include Ariana Grande, Maroon 5, Tim McGraw, and Pharrell Williams.
