Kim talked to Executive Chef of Chauhan Ale & Masala House, Maneet Chauhan. As a Culinary Institute of America graduate, she has worked in some of the finest hotels in India. As an Executive Chef she has worked in such successful ventures as Vermillion in Chicago where she won Best New Chef for her efforts. Chef Chauhan is most recently known for her work on Chopped on the Food Network where she is a resident judge and a James Beard Award for Excellence recipient.
We also talked to Senior Editor at Saveur Magazine, Mari Uyehara. She was previously the Food & Drink Editor at Time Out New York and the Food Editor of Martha Stewart Living Radio. She grew up in South Hadley, MA, majored in Philosophy at Barnard College, and now resides in Brooklyn.
