Emma Watson is reteaming with “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” writer-director Stephen Chbosky in a new movie that sounds a lot like the Zac Efron vehicle, “17 Again.” The news was first reported by Deadline.com.
The movie is “While We’re Young,” an adaptation of Adena Halpern’s 2010 novel, “29.” The film offers a multi-generational story about a 75-year-old woman who feels more kinship with her 29-year-old granddaughter than she does her 55-year-old daughter. In a mystical twist, she gets the opportunity to return to her 29-year-old self and spend time with her granddaughter as a younger woman.
