Bucs Gain 3 New High Profile Players

After Buccaneer Coach Raheem Morris was fired last fall, everyone said the only way the Bucs would get better is if the Glazer’s open up the purse strings and actually spent some money on some talent.

So they did.

As of Tuesday, they’ve spent over 140 million for  three VERY high profile free agents.

The players are Chargers receiver Vincent Jackson, Saints guard Carl Nicks and Lions cornerback Eric Wright.

The players all arrived in Tampa aboard private jets.

Jackson and Wright were met at the airport by head coach Greg Schiano, about 4am.

The Bucs also have more money to spend and the number 5 pick in April’s draft.

Mark Dominik would not confirm the signing of backup quarterback Dan Orlovsky.
