CBS has secured a comedy pilot produced by Affleck and Damon, according to Deadline.
The half-hour comedy, More Time With Family, stars Tom Papa as a stand-up comedian (not a big stretch!) who decides to cut back on travelling for work in order to spend more time at home with his family. But of course, when he settles into his routine, he realizes that “no one asked him to do that.”
The show idea came about after Papa and Damon collaborated together on two movies,The Informant and Behind the Candelabra. Enter Damon’s BFF Affleck, whose production company, Pearl Street Films, is taking on more television projects, and voila!
