A photo that has gone viral shows what can happen when a frog gets too close to a rocket that’s being launched into outer space.
The photo, captured by a NASA camera, shows the critter spread-eagled in the foreground as the LADEE probe lifts off last week for the moon.
A spokesman for NASA’s Wallops/Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport, where the launch took place, said the photo is authentic and has not been doctored.
You be the judge. Is this photo real, or is someone at NASA having a good laugh right about now?
Either way, it’s one of our favorite photobombs yet.
