Police say a woman in Sarasota was shot in the head and flown to a local hospital.
Just before 6 a.m., She was found in her car at 9th Street and Orange Avenue.
Investigators say the woman is alive, but not identified. The motive for the shooting is unknown.
Officers are interviewing the person who called 911 for answers.
