The fire is a 16 unit, two story building that was occupied by 40 guests. All guests have been accounted for. Right now Fire Rescue is doing an aerial assault on the fire.
According to Pasco County officials, the fire broke out at a dormitory at Saddlebrook’s preparatory school around 2:30 a.m. One student smelled smoke and alerted others.
The flames took a while to extinguish and the building suffered a lot of damage.
Fire officials say the fire broke out in the middle of the building and spread.
There is nothing on the cause of the fire.
