LADY LAKE — Police said this afternoon they’re looking for a pair who stole steaks and other meat from a Publix Super Market and sped off in a “dirty” golf cart.
An employee at the store on Bicharra Boulevard attempted to stop the man and woman on Sunday after they stuffed the stolen meat into a large red bag, according to the Lady Lake Police Department. However, officers said the pair took off in a “dirty or dusty” dark blue E-Z-GO golf cart with a white top, heading north from the supermarket.
