According to the Tampa Fire Rescue, a 53 year old man jumped from the Gandy Bridge.
After jumping he was pulled from the water by people on a construction barge. The man had no life-threatening injuries. He was taken to the Gandy boat ramp to be transported via basic life support unit to St. Joseph’s hospital in accordance with the Baker Act.
