SARASOTA FL — According to the Sarasota Police Department, officers have arrested and charged Michael Willett, 28, with three counts of exposure of sexual organs. Officers say he exposed himself on three different occasions over the course of several weeks.
On February 12, 2014 at approximately 11 a.m., a woman was working at the Silver Star restaurant when she exited through the backdoor and observed a man masturbating. On February 20, 2014, the woman met with officers and identified Willett as the man in a photo lineup.
On February 18, 2014, at about 4 p.m., a woman was walking in the 700 block of Central Avenue and observed a man walking behind her masturbating. On February 20, 2014, the woman met with officers and identified Willett as the man in a photo lineup.
On February 20, 2014, at about 8 a.m., a woman told officers she noticed a man at the bottom of the parking garage in the 1900 block of Main Street. The man followed the woman up to the level she parks at and as she exited her vehicle, the man exposed himself and started to masturbate. On February 20, 2014, the woman met with officers and identified Willett as the man in a photo lineup.
Willett was arrested on February 20, 2014 at transported to the Sarasota County Jail where he is being held on a $75,000 bond.
