Zephyrhills, Florida — Stealing sentimental items and dumping ashes from a relative of the homeowner into the tub and toilet are just some of the things a man is accused of doing during a burglary.
Pasco Sheriff’s deputies say on April 28, Elvis Prechtl is accused of breaking into a home he temporarily resided in with a woman and stealing a number of items he knew were important to her — in addition to dumping her father’s ashes into the tub and toilet.
The woman told deputies she felt like Prechtl was the one responsible for the burglary because she said he had threatened to do things to her father’s ashes several times in the past. She also pointed out that the only things taken were items he knew were sentimental to her, which included six porcelain dolls she received from her mother, three collectors plates with Merlin and dragons on them and some jewelry.
