HUDSON — Just after 2 a.m. Sunday the 911 calls started coming in from neighbors. A man was slinking through the dark, down Omaha street, between their houses, naked.
Pasco sheriff’s deputies used a dog to track down 20-year-old Devon Gilkey to a back yard where they found him hiding in a tree, a report states. They cuffed him and led him out from behind the home.
Gilkey spoke rapidly and was “constantly moving to either scratch an itch or maintain his balance,” the report states. He said people promised to give him bath salts as a reward for his nude jaunt.
Gilkey, of 15809 Tricourt Drive, was arrested on charges of loitering and prowling, indecent exposure and two warrants in connection with petit theft. He remained in Land O’Lakes jail Monday in lieu of $1,326 bail.
