Deputies and firefighters were called to a business in the Progress Village area east of Tampa after a cow somehow wound up stuck in a pond.
Crews jumped in the water to hold the animal’s head up while others worked to attach a harness and winch.
It took more than an hour, but the animal was safely pulled out.
“The elderly cow is exhausted and expected to make a full recovery,” HCSO tweeted.
