Clearwater: Woman Found Burning in Home Dies

The 44-year-old woman severely burned at her Clearwater home Wednesday night has died, according to authorities.

Rhonda Wolfe died around midnight at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg, according to Clearwater police. She was in critical condition when she was rushed to the hospital late Wednesday.

Wolfe’s husband called 911 to report his wife was engulfed in flames in the garage of their home. She has third-degree burns over her entire body. Police and fire crews responded to the home in the 2800 block of Lemonwood Street just before 11 p.m.
