Thursday in Tampa Bay Should Be Colder

It will be a cold start to the day, but sunshine and northeasterly winds will begin a warm up this afternoon that eventually brings back the 70s and some 80s by the weekend.  There will be more sunshine today and winds will turn from the north to the northeast.  That will push the mercury back to near 70 today.

The warming trend with sunny skies continues through the weekend as winds turn east then southeast.

The next chance for rain arrives Tuesday and Wednesday with the next cold front, but rain chances look slim at 20%.

Today: COLD start, sunny skies and winds turning from the N to the NE 10 mph.  Highs will reach the upper 60s and low 70s.

Tonight:  Chilly, but not as cold. Lows will dip to the mid 40s north and low 50s in the Tampa area.

Friday: Mostly sunny and warmer.  Highs reach the mid 70s with winds NE – E 10 mph.

Weekend:  Partly sunny with highs in the mid to upper 70s and close to 80 by Sunday.  Winds will be E-SE 10 mph.
