Chance for Monday Showers

It’s another warm and muggy start to the day on this Monday morning.  Temperatures are ranging from 66-74 degrees, with the warmest readings closer to the coast.  We all warm up to the upper 80s to low 90s by this afternoon.

Rain chances finally begin to increase today, but that rain will mainly fall over inland locations east of I75.  A weakening front will slide southward over the next couple of days bringing a rain chance to the area.  The best chance for rain will be north closer to the boundary and inland as westerly winds blow the showers east.  Rain chance along the coast today is only 10-20% near lunchtime, while rain chances inland are up to 40% mainly after 3 pm.

Today: Partly sunny skies, warm and humid with afternoon showers and storms, mainly inland.  Winds will blow WSW 10 mph with highs in the upper 80s to near 90 inland.

Tonight: Partly cloudy, mild & muggy with a very light chance for a shower.  Winds will be light from the W with lows in the upper 60s to low 70s.
