On the day of the Florida primaries, Florida Live’s Dan Maduri will be interviewed from 1-2 PM
With the Sunshine State going to the polls on Tuesday in the Florida primaries, MSNBC Live will talk to Dan Maduri, host of Florida Live on AM 820 News Tampa Bay and 98.3 FM Pinellas County, during their 1-2 PM block.
Host Craig Melvin will be asking Dan about the atmosphere in one of America’s “battleground states” or “purple states,” as Florida’s vote can tell quite a bit about where the entire country might be leaning at any given moment.
While the US Senate race in Florida is not in the balance during the primary, with Republican Rick Scott facing no opposition and incumbent Senator Bill Nelson with no challenge on the Democratic side, Florida’s gubernatorial race will be watched closely by the entire nation. In particular, the Republican primary between Adam Putnam and Ron DeSantis could suggest quite a bit about President Donald Trump and others’ push to change the Republican Party and get away from what they call the GOP’s establishment.
On the Democratic side, the gubernatorial race could also tell a lot about where an increasingly divided party is leaning. Gwen Graham comes into Tuesday as the likely choice, but the Democrats have several major candidates in the race, and there is still much to be decided on their end.
An independent thinker, Dan Maduri has seen the race unfold both around the candidates at the Sunshine Summit and President Trump’s rally in support of Ron DeSantis, and around the voters as the host of a daily talk show. Florida Live with Dan Maduri can be heard weekday afternoons from 3-6 on AM 820 News Tampa Bay and 98.3 FM Pinellas County.
For more, Dan Maduri also appeared on ABC7 News At 7 on Wednesday of last week to discuss America’s growing political divide.
