Jameis Winston Agrees to NFL Suspension

The National Football League made their reported three game suspension of Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston official on Thursday afternoon.  Winston will miss the first three games of the 2018 NFL season, including a week three Monday Night Football contest at home against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Judge Rejects Request From Driver In Fatal Bayshore Crash

A judge rejected a defense attorney's efforts to persuade him to allow an 18-year-old to keep driving, following his arrest on two counts of vehicular homicide. Cameron Herrin, who police say was racing a stretch of Bayshore Boulevard in Tampa that hugs the bay last week when a mother and her child were fatally struck, was in court Saturday for a bond hearing.
