Today, the News Talk Florida Poll checks in on your feelings about the race for US Senate in Florida.

Two polls are out and they have differing results, we have the latest NBC News/Marist poll released late Tuesday with Sen. Nelson holding a lead over Gov. Scott, but then there is a new CBS/YouGov poll gave Scott a slight edge.

Puerto Rico Congresswoman Jenniffer González-Colón endorsed Gov. Rick Scott’s bid for U.S. Senate at an event Tuesday in Kissimmee. Congresswoman González-Colón recognized Scott’s continued work supporting Puerto Rico following Hurricane Maria and his commitment to the Puerto Rican community.

U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson and other Florida Democrats are calling on federal authorities to reject a proposed change to the state’s Medicaid program. The administration of Gov. Rick Scott has asked for approval to shorten the amount of time that people can apply for Medicaid coverage once they need medical help. The move could save an estimated $98 million.
