Trump’s On the Fly Abortion Comments Show Faulty Thought Process

WASHINGTON – Donald Trump is testing the all press is good press again. Speaking with MSNBC Chris Matthews he said he believed that women who have abortion should be punished.

“There has to be some form of punishment,” Trump said during a televised town hall event. “For the woman?” Matthews pressed, to which Trump replied, “Yes.”

This shows that Trump has a faulty ability to think on the fly. That his critical thinking is lacking and he always refuses to walk back any decision once made.

What people admire about Donald Trump is his ability to state his position frankly, regardless of whether or not it seems unvarnished or not. What he is done now is engage in doublethink and respond to the pressures of political correctness and a liberal media. He needs to stick to his guns if he is going to win the White House.
