GOP DEBATE – Donald Trump’s political opponents will do seemingly anything to stop him from becoming president of the United States. Even if it involves appearing not to care if people die in the streets of America. At least that’s how it seemed at one point for Ted Cruz in last night’s presidential debate.

In one of his many attacks on Donald Trump, Cruz criticized Trump over his past support for universal health care. He said “if you want people to die on the streets, if you don’t support socialized health care, you have no heart”, but never followed up saying that people, should not actually be dying in the street. In fact, when Trump said that he wouldn’t let that happen, the only response Cruz could come up with was “Who’s going to pay for it?”

The point of running for president is not just obtaining the office. The point is to be able to implement policy and change things for the better. Ted Cruz would dowell to remember that’s the reason he’s there. If he’d rather attack Trump than solve problems, maybe he should just stay in Texas.
