ROSEBURG – Hundreds showed up to for a candlelight vigil to show their respects to the victims who died in the mass shooting at Umpqua Community College.
The vigil was a show of respect and mourning but ultimately represents Americans who have lost hope that Washington can find a solution to end mass shootings on schools. They can not be told that their child did not die in vain. They can not be consoled.
This is the new American life.
