Robert Menendez Opposes Iran Nuke Deal

This time it was Democratic Sen. Robert Menendez of New Jersey who announced he was voting against the Iran deal on Tuesday. However, to keep things in perspective, Menendez has been at odds with President Obama before, not happy with the recent outreach for normalization of relations with Cuba.

To put it all out on the table, he’s under indictment, and lost his influential post as chair of the foreign relations commission. Nonetheless, it is one less vote for the president, who while on vacation at Martha’s Vineyard, continues to work the phones to get his Iran deal approved by Congress.
