Pope Francis Addresses Congress

Pope Francis addresses Congress on Thursday, where he will raise several issues that he feels strongly about, some of which jive with the beliefs of those lawmakers assembled in front of him, and some of which don’t.

He even gave a preview of several of those issues while speaking at the White House on Wednesday morning. One Catholic legislator, Arizona Congressman Paul Gosar, went as far to announce he’s sitting out the speech, not wanting to be lectured about climate change.

Later on Thursday, Pope Francis heads to NYC for a busy day of activity in Manhattan, from downtown, to Harlem, to midtown for a mass at Madison Square Garden.
