Obama’s Legacy: A Forecast On Obamacare

A new government study forecasts that healthcare coverage costs of the Affordable Care Act (aka Obamacare) are going up.

An analysis by the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) says the health care law will cost $1.34 trillion over the coming decade. That’s $136 billion more than was predicted a year ago. The 11% hike is mostly caused by higher-than-expected enrollment in the expanded Medicaid program established under the law.

Having said that, 22 million more people will have health care coverage this year than if the law had never been enacted, the CBO said. ABC’s Kenneth Moton joined us from Washington D.C.
