Begin with, we put far too much pressure on doctors. They go to medical schools bit charge of them outrageous amounts of money and they are forced to pay ridiculous amounts of interest on student loans that they can only pay back by running a chop shop operation. In order to get the volume up patients they need to pay back those loans, they are constantly busy and sleep deprived. That is no way to safeguard the lives of human beings.

On top of this, doctors are constantly undo the threats of lawsuits which puts additional pressure on them. It’s no wonder that they make mistakes. Add to that the fact that, pharmaceutical companies are constantly pressuring doctors to prescribe drugs that they probably shouldn’t, and you have a perfect medical storm. Let’s find a cure for cancer, yes. But we can save more lives immediately by making changes in our medical profession first.
