WASHINGTON – Your local Congressman is spending twenty to thirty hours a week trying to raise funds for their re-election campaigns. Congressman David Jolly is saying enough.
The Stop Act would prohibit federal officeholders from directly soliciting political contributions. “We can’t have a part-time Congress in a full-time world.” Rep Jolly said.
