John Boehner: Recent Police Issues A National Crisis

President Obama travels to New York City Monday, where he’ll speak at an event sponsored by the My Brother’s Keeper Alliance, a foundation originally created by the White House, but that has spun off independently to exist after the president leads office, whose purpose is to better prepare and assist minority youths in getting ahead.

On a related front, House Speaker John Boehner on Sunday called the relationship between black communities and police a national crisis, and said what is hurting poor urban communities are liberal policies that simply are not working to provide job opportunities to help turn things around.
