The so-called 11th Commandment, one much espoused by Ronald Reagan, reads “Thou shall not speak ill of any fellow Republican.” Of course, as is clearly evident, Donald Trump never followed that particular part of political scripture. And now that particular doctrine is slowly being abandoned by others in the GOP field of 2016, as they respond to, well, Donald Trump.
Rick Perry calling Trump a cancer on conservatism. Lindsey Graham calling him a car wreck that could ruin the party. For now, Trump appears to relish the criticism. Politicos wonder if and when additional candidates will join the scrum.
