FLORIDA (AP)- Gun owners in the Sunshine State would be able to openly carry their firearms in public under a new bill.
The Criminal Justice Subcommittee voted 8-4 for the bill on Tuesday.
Florida GOPers say the House Bill 163 will make the state safer, while Florida Democrats say there are no provisions that require gun owners to holster their weapons.
