Real-estate mogul and reality-television star Donald Trump says he will seek the Republican nomination for president in 2016. Trump made the announcement Tuesday morning at the midtown Manhattan tower that bears his name. In his announcement, the 12th high-profile Republican to join the race took his shots at politicians in general, the other candidates, and the White House’s current inability to navigate the world economy.
