Can President Obama Sell The Iran Deal To Congress?

With members of his own party skeptical and Republicans downright hostile, President Obama on Tuesday sought to convince members of Congress to back the historic agreement reached between the U.S., Iran and five other world powers to curb Iran’s nuclear power. He said he welcomes a robust debate over the terms of the deal, but warned that he would veto any attempt to block the deal.

The President will apparently start his persuasion tour promptly on Wednesday, when he has scheduled an afternoon press conference to discuss the agreement, as winning over the American people first is regarded as a sound strategy.

ABC’s Karen Travers joined us Wednesday morning to discuss.
