#AskBobby Shows the GOP Still Doesn’t Understand Social Media

NEW ORLEANS – Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal announced his bid for the presidency on June 24th to lackluster response.

Looking to shake things up, Jindal’s social media marketing crew decide it was a good idea to extend a digital handshake to potential voters. Predictably, #AskBobby was trending on Twitter within moments for all the wrong reasons.

Jindal should be searching for a new marketing manager for the PR damage that was done within a few hours. The GOP still doesn’t understand how social media works or the demographics of platforms like Twitter.

Twitter is a playground for trolls and social liberals making it a battlefield the GOP can never win or reason with.
