Trump, Clinton Make Appearances In North Carolina

The two presumed presidential nominees made appearances on Tuesday in North Carolina, a state whose voters seem deadlocked over which candidate to support in November.

Hillary Clinton had the highest-profile Democrat of them all, President Barack Obama, at her side when she rallied supporters in Charlotte. Republican standard-bearer Donald Trump fired up his own loyalists a few hours later in Raleigh, firing back directly at comments made earlier in the day by the Democrats.

ABC’s Jim Ryan attended both rallies.
