Historic Move Takes Over Social Media
Washington – Yesterday while over 80 Democratic members of the House have gone old-school, occupying the floor of the chambers with a sit-in to protest the Republican majority’s inaction on gun control. As of 9 a.m. this morning the Democratic members of Congress continue to hold down the floor.

There actions continue to play out in real time via social media as C-SPAN was instructed by Paul Ryan (R-Wisc.) The Speaker of the House to turn the cameras off. It is Ryan who decides when the cameras in the house chamber are on or when they are on.
But the savvy Democratic participants in the historic sit-in took to social media using Facebook Live, Periscope and Twitter to get their pictures out. All day long and in the wee hours of this morning the cellphone video streamed on social media and got a very strong following. The hashtag #Nobillnobreak is blowing up on Twitter.
