Republican Michele Bachmann believes that praying to God can do wonders for her political party and may stop former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton from winning the next presidential election.
Right-wing radio host Jan Markell asked Bachmann in an interview if she was among those people who assumed Clinton will be “coronated” as president in 2016.
“I don’t at all because I look at the story of David and Goliath,” Bachmann replied, according to Right Wing Watch. “All David needed was one smooth stone to fell the giant. It wasn’t the stone, it wasn’t David, it was the strong right arm of a Holy God.”
