John Boehner Says Clinton Must Provide Server To Third Party

WASHINGTON — House Speaker John Boehner says former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton must turn over her computer server to a neutral third party.

The Ohio Republican told reporters on Tuesday that Clinton surrender all of her emails so an independent party can decide what was personal and what was government-related.

Boehner said there are no changes in the House investigations. A special select committee is investigating the deadly 2012 attacks on the U.S. mission in Benghazi, Libya. The panel’s chairman says he wants Clinton, a potential presidential candidate, to testify twice.

Separately, the House Oversight panel is focused on the open records law and the ultimate fate of Clinton’s emails.

Clinton has said the server “will remain private.”
